Twenty young content creators from eleven countries have been selected to participate in this year's Hack Málaga. This year's finalists faced a series of challenges that now culminate in their participation in the 28th edition of the competition.

During their stay in Malaga they will have to carry out a final "personal branding" challenge that will consist of focusing on their own image and the talent that makes them unique as creators. The aim will be for them to transmit the added value of their look and the authenticity of their voice through an audiovisual piece. The works will be presented on 20 March at Google's headquarters in Malaga.

In addition, and for the first time, they will have the opportunity to present their projects in a pitch format. On one hand, branding and entertainment at La Villa del Mar on 19 March and, on the other hand, short films on 21 March together with the participants in Málaga Talent, which will allow them to compete for the prize for the Best Short Film Project in Development that Málaga Short Corner has launched this year in collaboration with the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival and its Pro Film Market.

The finalists will be accompanied throughout the process by coaches and mentors and will have access to personalised mentoring from representatives of platforms, streaming services and technology companies such as Disney, Paramount, Sony, Google and YouTube, among others. All of this is with the aim of creating a space for training and exchange of ideas designed for their creative profile. In addition, a number of exclusive talks and workshops have also been organised by professionals from technology companies, media agencies and platforms.

With Hack Málaga, the Festival seeks to meet the sector's challenge of reaching new audiences who consume audiovisual content through a wide range of channels. In this way, the event seeks new spaces to generate audiences and dialogue with them and with the creators with whom they identify. This section aims to offer the opportunity to make room for these creators, to meet them and see them in action, to make them coexist in a space of synergies with the different agents of the audiovisual industry.
