- Documentary projects may be submitted in the following formats: Author Documentary, Social Media Documentary, Docu-Reality, and Investigative Documentary in feature-length film and documentary series formats.
- Submissions must be made by freelances and legal entities registered as production companies in Spain, Portugal, or any Latin American country.
- A company may submit up to two projects though only one project per company may be chosen.
- Projects must be in the development stage.
- Submitted projects must include background details and information relevant to the development stage of audiovisual projects: treatment, dossier, financial plan, budget, teasers, previous works etc.
- Applications must be submitted through the online form available on our website from January 15, 2025 https://mercadoc.culturia.es/ and must include all required documentation listed in the form
The deadline for submitting projects is February 14, 2025 (inclusive).
Projects and participants must comply with the regulations outlined in this call for applications.

- Director's biofilmography (maximum 600 characters)

(in my opinion, a detailed production budget isn?t necessary ? what?s more important is an indicative production budget, so we see if they understand the international market, and a financing plan)

All documents uploaded to the application form must be named with the project title and the country.
The official languages of MERCADOC.0 are Spanish and Portuguese. Documentation may be submitted in either of these two languages, and the information in the form should also be completed in English.
