MERCADOC.0 will hold its next edition from March 18 to 21, 2025, in the city of Málaga, Spain, during the 28th edition of the Festival de Málaga.
The selected projects in this call will integrate a program designed to strengthen, connect, and promote the audiovisual contents of the professional teams involved, which will participate in the following activities:
- One accreditation for each selected project to access MAFIZ
- Mentoring, workshops, and master classes
Focused on the development of the key aspects of each project, such as creative areas, audiences, production, and distribution. One of the highlights will be the exploration of business opportunities between participating projects and new actors in the documentary industry, including media, content platforms, and TV networks, which play a crucial role in identifying new co-production opportunities, strategic investments, and commercial synergies.
- Networking opportunities for new challenges
MERCADOC.0 provides selected project teams with a space to connect with various global audiovisual industry players, enabling them to develop initiatives within the various sections of the Málaga audiovisual market.
- MERCADOC.0 Digital Catalogue
All selected projects will be integrated into an international promotional catalogue created by MAFIZ to promote content and professional teams, facilitating funding searches and raising awareness of new contents among industry agents and audiences interested in Ibero-American cinema.
Additionally, selected projects will have access to financial support to facilitate their participation. This will be provided once the event has finished and upon submission of an invoice:
- Financial support for selected LATAM projects: 800 euros
- Financial support for selected Spain and Portugal projects: 400 euros
