This call is designed as a specific space of the Festival de Málaga Industry Area (MAFIZ), part of the -ENTRE GUIONES- organised and developed by Ventana Sur, which will take place from 1 to 5 December 2025 in the city of Buenos Aires. This initiative is organised in collaboration with the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions through its support programme for screenwriters, CreANDo.
-ENTRE GUIONES- is an initiative created by Ventana Sur to give a diverse selection of scripts the chance to transcend borders and reach international market. It is also an opportunity for producers and professionals from the rest of the world who are looking to connect with the creativity of Ibero-America without intermediaries.
-ENTRE GUIONES- was created to promote the talent of the region's professional writers and their scripts, the first essential step in any film production.
This 2025 edition aims to bring authors of unpublished material -original works or adaptations- in contact with film industry agents, with an emphasis on the creation of alliances that will allow selected scripts to be made into films.
We aim to select seed projects that arouse the interest of potential producers.
Festival de Málaga and its industry area MAFIZ, along with Ventana Sur and the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions, agree to collaborate in this event and to include Andalusian talent through its screenwriters and their works, seeking to develop a stronger and more solid Ibero-American cinematography in the international market.
The period for project registrations will begin on 10 September 2025 and end on 10 October 2025.
Selected screenwriters will be announced on 30 October 2025.
