Málaga Short Corner is an activity of Spanish Screenings Content designed for the promotion, dissemination and international distribution of the most recent and outstanding short films of our industry.
Malaga Short Corner will hold its second edition March 4-7, 2024 with the objective of continuing to showcase new Spanish talent through a carefully selected selection of short films produced as from the 2nd quarter of 2023. Approximately, 60 short films of all genres will be screened to showcase new Spanish talent: fiction, comedy, horror and fantasy, LGTBIQ+, documentary, animation, and productions from the different Spanish regions or film schools.
The event will be attended by professionals, distributors, buyers and international festivals. All of them, together with the short film crews and other participants, will have the opportunity to attend a series of round tables on professionalization, new exhibition spaces and other current issues within the sector.
A mixture of young talents and established directors will show their short films at Málaga Short Corner, as well as students from different universities and film schools in Spain.
