- Only short films of Spanish nationality that have not been released or have been released after the fourth quarter of 2024 (either in market screenings, festivals or commercial cinemas) will be accepted.
- Films must be submitted before 10 February 2025.
- Short films which are a work-in-progress in their final cut will also be accepted, with a commitment of completion by the date of the market screenings.
- Priority will be given to new films (international premieres) and short films that have not been screened at other international markets (International Market Premieres).
- Short films with a sales agent or distribution contract will be given priority.
- Copies must be sent following the guidelines, format requirements and deadline specified by the Organising Committee.
- Short films must be subtitled in English (preferably with embedded subtitles).
- The Organising Committee will select the titles on the basis of the aforementioned requirements, and will give priority to those that meet the requirements thus defined (export potential of the film, cast, track record of filmmakers and production companies, budget, among others).

- The registration of films does not imply their automatic admission.
