Malaga Festival since its 20th edition aims to foster the dissemination and promotion of Ibero-American cinematography. To keep moving forward, it is necessary to set out new objectives. This is the main reason why we have created an Industry Area that encompasses a series of events designed to strengthen Ibero-American film productions.
From 7 to 13 March, the venue will host workshops, conferences, meetings, and talks, all streamed on its Youtube channel Málaga Audiovisual Tech, showcasing new audiovisual languages
The initiative will take place as part of MAFIZ, the industry area of the 29th edition, sponsored by the Regional Ministry of Tourism and Andalucía Exterior
The deadline for submissions is 2 February and the winner will receive a grant of €15,000 for the development of their proposal
The ninth edition will take place from 10 to 13 March 2026, in collaboration with Abycine Lanza as part of the joint project ‘El Impulso’
