There is a mysterious indigenous legend in Panama: “that of the Rabbit Indian.” He was known for being averse to civilization, fighting other ethnic groups, and then eating their body parts. 

This is a myth that becomes reality. When we talk about a past of wars and cultural disappearances, this is exactly what is happening today.

MARINA PRODUCTIONS is a film company founded by Annie Canavaggio in Panama, dedicated to producing mainly documentaries with strong historical and social themes.

Rompiendo la Ola 2014, official selection at Wasaw FF.

In 2016, it began two co-productions with the Colombian company Milagros Producciones and made the feature-length documentaries HIJO DE TIGRE and MULA. Jury Prize at Havana 2025 and currently screening the documentary EN BUSCA DEL INDIO CONEJO at MAFIZ SPECIALS at the Malaga Film Festival.
