The Industry Club, a meeting place for audiovisual entities and professionals

The visit began at the institutional stands of ICAA, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones and of Catalonia and Peru, the protagonists of Territories and Latin American Focus

This afternoon, Francisco de la Torre, Mayor of Malaga; María González Veracruz, Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures; Noelia Losada, Councillor for Culture, Sports and Teatinos of the Malaga City Council; María Peña, CEO of ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones; Silvia Anoro, Deputy Director General of ICAA for the Promotion of the Film and Audiovisual Industry, and Juan Antonio Vigar, Director of the Malaga Film Festival, had the opportunity of visiting in person the 38 companies, entities and institutions present at the Industry Club, a space in the NH Hotel in downtown Malaga, MAFIZ headquarters that MAFIZ places at the disposal of institutions, entities and companies to display and promote their activities, and as a venue in which to meet.

The visit began at the institutional stands of ICAA, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones and of Catalonia and Peru, the protagonists of Territories and Latin American Focus, respectively. They continued to Spain Colorful Diversity, the area placed at the disposal of the Autonomous Communities to present their locations for film shoots and plans for the support of audiovisual productions, and the Village, that had the stands of the Ibero-American Film Institutes and of the Spanish sales companies: Begin Again, Feel Sales, Bendita Film Sales, Film Factory, Filmax, Latido Films, Cinema Republic and Urban Films, Moonrise Pictures and the space of the Spain Film Commission.

Lastly, they visited the space of Malaga Short Corner, the new section of Spanish Screenings Content which has become a meeting point for scriptwriters and the industry specialised in genre.

Outside the area of the Industry Club, they visited the laboratory of HACK Mafiz Malaga, where the twenty winners are working on the event’s final challenge, entitled “Malaga and love (in times of artificial intelligence)”.
