This call is developed, as a specific space of the Malaga Festival Industry Area (MAFIZ), within the project The Film Principle which, organized and developed by Ventana Sur, will take place from November 27 to December 1, 2023 at the Buenos aires city. This initiative is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Government of Andalusia, within the EU FEDER program, and with the collaboration of the Andalusian Film Academy as a representative entity of the Andalusian audiovisual sector.
The Film Principle is an initiative created by Ventana Sur in 2020 to give a diverse selection of scripts the possibility of transcending borders and reaching the international market. It is also an opportunity for producers and professionals from the rest of the world who seek to connect with the creativity of Ibero-America without intermediaries.
The Film Principle was created to promote the talent of professional authors in the region and their scripts, the unavoidable first step of any film production.
The Malaga Festival and its industry zone MAFIZ agree with Ventana Sur to collaborate in this event and include Andalusian talent through its scriptwriters and their works, seeking to develop stronger and more solid Ibero-American cinematography in the international market.
The project registration period will be open from Septiembre 11, 2023 to October 10, 2023.
The announcement of the selected scriptwriters will be made on October 30, 2023
