Justino is a widower who lives isolated from the world on a large. Amira is one of many illegal Moroccan seasonal workers seeking a better future in Spain. One night, when Justino goes down to the village to sell his tomatoes, he accidentally runs her over.
Roberto Jiménez is a Spanish screenwriter and director. Known for his extensive work writing for hit television series such as 7 vidas and Aída, as well as the comedy El casoplón, he recently made his feature directorial debut. His first film, Amira's Land, premiered at the Festival Ópera Prima de Tudela in 2025, exploring themes of migration and rural life.
