A family spends a perfect Saturday morning in their quiet suburban home, unaware it will be their last. When communications collapse and a violent infection spreads, the world begins to fall apart. Left alone, Emma and Lucía go out to look for their parents and discover that everything has changed.
My style as a director is highly influenced by the fifteen years that I was working in a CAES center in a preferred action neighborhood on the outskirts of Valencia. My debut with «La Bomba», a short film shot with kids from the neighborhood without any experience as actors, was very well received and made me continue betting on telling real stories, stories from the street, because something I’ve learned is that reality surpasses reality fiction.
