Things That Buzz in the Night is a science non-fiction documentary that delves into the mystery of eerie radio frequencies broadcasting strings of cryptic numbers across the shortwave spectrum since the First World War, and their unsettling links to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Guillem Valle is an artist and photographer born in Barcelona in 1983. He began his career as a freelance photojournalist at the age of sixteen, covering conflicts such as the Second Intifada and the war in Lebanon. He has documented major global events including the independence of Kosovo, the Arab Spring, and the tsunami in Japan, winning a World Press Photo award in 2011. After directing documentaries for the UN, he recently completed the feature documentary Things That Buzz in the Night.
