Carol Rodríguez Colás is a Spanish director and screenwriter born in Cornellà de Llobregat. She gained widespread recognition with her debut feature, Girlfriends (Chavalas), which premiered at the Málaga Film Festival, winning the Audience Award and earning two Goya nominations, including Best New Director. Her background includes directing documentaries and series such as Shared Bath. Her latest feature film is Bros, co-directed with her sister Marina. Marina Rodríguez Colás is a Spanish screenwriter and director born in Esplugues de Llobregat in 1986. Formerly a creative copywriter, she transitioned to film and wrote the screenplay for the acclaimed film Girlfriends (Chavalas), receiving nominations for the Goya and Feroz awards. She has participated in prestigious residencies such as the Spanish Film Academy and MFI. She is a screenwriter for the series The New Years and co-directed the feature film Bros.
