Hugo is 23 years old and has yet to grow up. On the eve of his 24th birthday, he is forced to face adulthood: unemployed but hopeful, he heads to an interview at a real estate agency, a dream job that would allow him to wear a suit, a constant reminder of his absent father. He carries a deep-seated fear of abandonment: his mother is in prison, his girlfriend is leaving him, and his family is falling apart. Luc Knowles

A director of both Spanish and English heritage, he has emerged as a fresh voice in contemporary cinema.
