David Trueba
David Trueba is a writer, director, and journalist born in Madrid in 1969. The brother of filmmaker Fernando Trueba, he studied at the Complutense University and the American Film Institute. He began his career as a screenwriter before making his directorial debut with The Good Life. A celebrated novelist, he achieved critical acclaim with Soldiers of Salamis and swept the Goya Awards with Living Is Easy with Eyes Closed. His recent works include Saben aquell and Siempre es invierno.
