Carlos Saiz
Carlos Saiz (Murcia, 1991) is a Spanish filmmaker who began experimenting with audiovisual language at the age of 15, later refining his craft with a Master’s in Film Direction from EFTI. After directing experimental clips and his acclaimed short film La Hoguera (2020), he established a distinct style blending fiction with documentary elements. In 2025, he premiered his debut feature, Lionel, at the Seminci in Valladolid, a road movie that evolved from his previous work and garnered several industry awards at the Málaga Film Festival.
