Vicente, a 76-year-old man who came out at 50 and built a new life with his partner in Gran Canaria, suffers a stroke that changes everything. Back in Donostia and placed in a nursing home by his daughter, he silently returns to the closet, giving up the life he fought to live.
Aitor Arregi, Jose Mari Goenaga
José Mari Goenaga and Aitor Arregi are Basque filmmakers and key members of the Moriarti production company. Along with Jon Garaño, they have built a collaborative career alternating directorial, writing, and producing roles. They gained international acclaim with films like Lucio, 80 Days (En 80 días), and Flowers (Loreak). Their co-directed film The Endless Trench (La trinchera infinita) was a critical success, exploring themes of confinement. They recently created the series Cristóbal Balenciaga and directed the drama Maspalomas, which premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
