Synopsis
In a remote Austro-German colony lost in the Peruvian jungle, Hannah (35) is planning a trip to Germany to begin a new life away from her mother and from her partner Eva (51), who manages the local slaughterhouse. Aware that she cannot leave Eva alone, Hannah decides to find her a replacement partner before her departure. That is how she meets Betina (28), a mysterious woman who arrives in town carrying an unwanted pregnancy. The three women become entangled in a love triangle where their desires and illusions collide with their unresolved maternal wounds.

Director´s Biofilmography
Peruvian producer and founder of Cine Infinito. She produced Aya (Guadalajara 2017), Palabras Urgentes (Warsaw 2021), and El silencio del río (Berlinale 2020, 20+ awards and Oscar shortlist). Her features Larga Distancia (Lima 2019) and Tiempos Futuros (Tallinn 2021) screened at festivals including Locarno and Málaga. She is developing El Último Rey (Open Doors, La Fabrique) and has Amor es el monstruo, Vacas, and La otra orilla in post-production.
