Synopsis

A woman decides to care for her mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, and after her release from a psychiatric hospital, she takes her to live with her in an old family country house. She barely remembers her mother, only what she was told: that her mother once tried to kill her when she was a child. The mother, due to her illness, does not recognize her either. The house is inhabited by a young Moroccan shepherd who tends the land with wisdom and learned to read through poetry books found in the trash. In this place suspended in time, the three coexist amid silence, fragmented memory, reconciliation, and unexpected tenderness.
