Synopsis

In the mountains of Cauca, Colombia, Yasmín, a young Indigenous Nasa woman, is accused of killing the man who abused her and left her pregnant. Julia, her mother, is forced to confront not only an ancestral trial, but also her own guilt and the silence that surrounded the violence. Rubiela, her sister-in-law, bursts in demanding revenge, convinced that punishment is the only form of justice. United by pain yet divided by their wounds, Yasmín, Julia, and Rubiela face a decision that fractures the family and puts the entire community to the test. Together, they must decide whether punishment is enough to repair what was lost, or if it is still possible to imagine another path toward justice and redemption.
