Synopsis

The Basque mountains, 17th century. Amidst the witch hunts, Kattalin flees from her husband, abandoning the farmhouse in the middle of the night. Lost in the darkness of the forest, she senses a presence stalking her. Along the way, she encounters three women washing clothes by the river, sharing scary tales and village gossip. To her astonishment, Kattalin will end up becoming part of those very stories.
