Synopsis

A feel-good comedy about Ángel, a young and attractive personal trainer who has everything going for him. After a sabbatical year, he starts working at the best gym in the city, but everything changes when he feels unwell, goes to the hospital, and receives unexpected news: he is pregnant. Ángel is a trans man who must face a decision that will test his identity, his dreams, and his idea of masculinity.

Patricia Ortega

She holds a degree in Social Communication and is a director trained at the EICTV in Cuba and the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg. She has directed short films and documentaries such as Sueños de Hanssen and Ausencias. Her fiction debut, Yo, Imposible (2018), received international awards and was shortlisted for the Oscars. In 2022, she shot Mamacruz (2023), which premiered at Sundance, and in 2025, the biopic Caballé.
