1943. Franco has blocked the path of the Jews fleeing Nazi oppression over the Pyrenees mountains. At the border crossing in a small village, Manel Grau, a civil servant with a Republican past, decides to go against the orders of his superiors and aid the refugees across the border.
Judith Colell
Judith Colell is a director, screenwriter, and producer born in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona) in 1968. A graduate of the University of Barcelona and NYU, she is a co-founder of the Association of Women Filmmakers (CIMA) and currently serves as the President of the Catalan Film Academy. She has received critical acclaim for films such as Nosotras and 53 Days of Winter. Her film Elisa K, co-directed with Jordi Cadena, won the Special Jury Prize at the San Sebastián Film Festival. Her most recent feature is 15 Hours.
