Sidjonathas Araújo is a Brazilian filmmaker and partner at Floriô de Cinema, graduated in Cinema e Audiovisual from the Federal University of Sergipe. He specialized in Directing at Centro Afrocarioca de Cinema and in Screenwriting at Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión, in Cuba. He won the LAB Negras Narrativas with the short film Ímã de Geladeira, screened at over 50 festivals, including Chicago Latino, Seattle Black, Gramado, and Tiradentes. In 2024, he was selected for the Aceleradora Paradiso and joined in the Rede Paradiso de Talentos. He has collaborated on the theatrical distribution of features such as Levante and Longe do Paraíso. His work spans directing, writing, and distribution within Brazilian independent cinema.
