Sara Granés is an actress, director, and creator trained at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, with further studies at the National University of Arts in Argentina. Her work spans theatre, audiovisual projects, and animation, with a strong focus on historical memory and community-based creation. She has been involved for eight years in El Judici, the theatrical reenactment of the witch trials of Caldes de Montbui, and has directed the animated miniseries Microvidas. Founder of the theatre company La Visionaria and winner of the Málaga Film Festival’s Hack Mafiz, her work seeks to bridge past and present by reclaiming historically silenced voices through contemporary storytelling.
