Matheus Malburg is a Brazilian director and screenwriter. His graduation short film Yuta was selected for several festivals, including EnergaCAMERIMAGE and Watersprite Film Festival, and later became the basis for a feature-length project currently in development. He then directed We're Still Here, selected for festivals such as Bogoshorts, Nòt Film Fest, and again EnergaCAMERIMAGE. His most recent short film, Chica, was selected for VS-Corto at Ventana Sur, took part in the Short Film Lab, received two awards, and is currently beginning its distribution process. Currently, he is participating in the Linz Talent Academy program with his short in development, Flannels.
