Profile
French-Colombian filmmaker Lorenzo Rincon explores the illusions of transformation and the intoxication of obsession. Inspired by film noir, he creates worlds where dream, fantasy, and reality intertwine, and where images can be as seductive as they are unsettling. His characters are often drawn to their own reflection, caught between desire and vertigo. Architecture plays a key role in shaping spaces and atmospheres, an influence inherited from his father, an architect. From his mother, a psychoanalyst, he retains a sensitivity to inner tensions and the unspoken. His cinematic universe exists in this in-between, between control and excess.
