Chisco Valdés (Guatemala, 1993) audiovisual artist and filmmaker lives and works in Barcelona. His work, through mise-en-scene and documentation, explores and finds points of conceptual convergence that unite his sensitivity for cinematographic aesthetics and a quest to highlight the convergence between the cultured, the popular and the folkloric. His work Jandiman which explores the influence North American movies have on the collective imagination, has been selected in PhotoEspaña 2022, Malaga Talent, and Festival de Valparaíso.
