Mexico City. Juana is a solitary journalist who has mastered the art of burying her traumas, until a name takes her back: Pedro Núñez, a corrupt politician and the prime suspect in a child pornography network and the murders of Armando, Juana's former boyfriend, and Joaquín, her former colleague. Juana must confront her old wounds to obtain justice.

Regina Solórzano has an extensive career in the film and television industry in Mexico. Since 2018, Regina has served as the CEO of Talipot Studio, a production studio based in Mexico City that has co-produced the following acclaimed international films: The Kings of the World, Annette, Bergman Island,Siberia, Eureka, and Triangle of Sadness. Additionally, they have led three original productions: Tú eres mi problema, directed by Álvaro Curiel; The Dead Don’t Hurt, directed by Viggo Mortensen; and more recently, Juana, directed by acclaimed actor Daniel Giménez Cacho. Parallel to this, the studio is currently developing various television series with renowned creators such as Rodrigo Prieto, Gibrán Portela, Mark Olsen and Will Scheffer, among others. |
