Synopsis
An intimate look at the life of Panamanian anthropologist Reina Torres de Araúz, a 20th-century explorer, wife, and mother who forged her own path to becoming a national leader. A journey through this woman's struggle against colonialism, shedding light on the plundering of artifacts from pre-Columbian tombs. The battles she won and those she lost, including cancer, told from the perspective of a son who lost his mother far too soon.

Co-production´s interesting countries
Colombia – a nearby country, a natural co-production, with a shared history and border that forms part of the documentary's narrative with the Emberá indigenous people. They have post-production facilities and the capacity to restore film and archival material, fostering future collaboration.
Mexico – a natural co-production due to its historical involvement with the documentary's subject, who received guidance from that country for the design of our museum. They have post-production facilities and the capacity to restore film and archival material, fostering future collaboration.
Italy – a natural co-production related to the repatriation of pieces from Italian museums to the Panamanian State, which they have already carried out. They have post-production facilities and the capacity to restore film and archival material, fostering future
