LATITUDES

Director Pablo Malek
Producer Jorge Constantino
Peru

Synopsis
Lucho (22) is a young Peruvian who grew up on the outskirts of Paris, far from his native culture. After a problem with the police, his mother decides to send him back to his country. In Lima, Lucho discovers a new reality and, thanks to his cousin Martin, joins the activist hip-hop movement. Together with his new friends, Lucho travels to the Andes to participate in a social conflict, where he gets even closer to his roots and discovers, thanks to rap, a part of his identity that he rejected.
