You love your life. I don’t know. You think that now that your mother has died, you’re next. Maybe. You’re becoming obsessed with Nino Bravo. Maybe. Objectives to be achieved
We aim to strengthen the interest in "The Bastard Daughter" following its participation in the Atlàntida Mallorca Talents Lab, as well as to position its creator, Olivia Delcán, as an emerging talent to watch after her extensive career as an actress. At the same time, we are seeking co-production partners (Switzerland and Belgium in Europe, Mexico or Argentina in Latin America) who can help the project grow and complete its financing.

Co-production´s interesting countries
Since the protagonist, according to the script, travels to Switzerland at the climax of the film—and as a result, one of the six shooting weeks is scheduled to take place there—the project is envisioned as a natural SPAIN–SWITZERLAND co-production (80–20%).
An alternative or even complementary co-production partner could be Belgium, with whom we’ve already worked, contributing half of its share in the form of tax incentives. Curiously, Belgium was also the European country where Nino Bravo was most successful. Other possible secondary European partners include Italy, France, or the Netherlands, through their minority co-production funds.
We also think it would be interesting to start a co-production line with Latin America, given the success that Nino Bravo had in countries such as Mexico and Argentina.

PRODUCER’S BIOFILMOGRAPHY
Although he graduated as an architect, César Esteban Alenda soon redirected his career—together with his brother José—towards filmmaking.
Together, they made eight short films that, in addition to receiving numerous awards at international festivals, earned them a Goya Award and two further nominations.
Their feature debut, Sin Fin, brought them a fourth nomination—this time for Best New Director at the Goya Awards—as well as the Best First Film Award at the 2018 Málaga Film Festival. Together they founded Solita Films, through which they have produced all their own work as well as that of other filmmakers. Their titles include "El despertar de las hormigas" (Costa Rica/Spain, 2019, premiered at Berlinale), "La Pecera" (Puerto Rico/Spain, 2023, premiered at Sundance), and "Alemania" (Argentina/Spain, 2023, premiered at San Sebastián).
